Denis Darzacq- La Chute (The Fall)

This series of images aims to demonstrate the blight of French urban youth. The subjects are supposed to look like they are in free fall, no witnesses, no safety net. The photographer used street performers to jump into these positions. Their faces are blank, they are not holding out arms or legs to protect themselves from the fall. These images were captured ‘in camera’ rather that being edited in photoshop.

  1. Just a comment to hopefully push this post back to the top

  2. The poses are really cool, and the deadpan processing really adds to feeling of urban plight.
